Video: 10-10-10 global work party
Bark's annual October mushroom hike coincided with the international "350" event, where people at 7,347 events in 188 countries joined together to dig community gardens, install solar panels, plant trees and more, sending a clear message to our political leaders: "if we can get to work, so can you!"

After picking chanterelle mushrooms in the rain, hikers demonstrated their support for this Global Work Party by spelling out 10-10-10 with mushrooms on a pile of debris from past logging.
In the video, hike leader Mark Des Marets speaks briefly about climate change and the need to impress our representatives with the seriousness of global warming.

Why 350? 350 is the parts per million of CO2 that scientists say we must get below, or else the damage we're already seeing from global warming will continue and accelerate.
Video is about 3 1/2 minutes in length.
