The Highland Fling Timber Sale yet another Bureau of Land Management logging project proposed along a popular hiking trail destination. This project is in direct conflict with the goals of the newly formed Molalla River Alliance, a group of concerned citizens in the Molalla area who would like to see the Salem District BLM put a higher premium on recreation, than on destructive timber sales. across hiking trails (such as the Pacific Crest Trail) and across two proposed off-highway vehicle designated areas. Take action today by sending a letter to Governor Kitzhaber and letting him know that you oppose the Palomar Pipeline through Mt. Hood National Forest!Governor John Kitzhaber160 State Capitol900 Court St.Salem
